Holly is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who has always had passion for music, especially pop, rock, new wave and indie music. Some of her favorite musicians and bands include Jackson Browne, Belinda Carlisle, Dan Fogelberg, Taylor Swift, Jefferson Airplane, Poco, Ambrosia, Depeche Mode, Stephen Sanchez, Elvis, Duran Duran, Sweet, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Linda Ronstadt, The Beatles and The Thompson Twins to name a few.
Recently, Holly has embarked on her own journey as a singer-songwriter to create her songs and share her music. Look for some new songs coming out in 2024! Her guitar sound and lyrics include genres of singer-songwriter, Americana and pop rock and nostalgia inspired originals. Holly's mantra is "Beauty From Ashes" and she's even written a song by the same name. Her vocals infuse the bitter with the sweet with some humor. Holly is a born romantic in a remote and alien world. Her music is nostalgic, anachronistic yet still timeless and focuses on quality of lyrics, instrumentation, vocals and production. Her harmonies will touch you with a range and depth of emotion including joy, sadness, hope, love, inspiration, fun, romance, heartbreak and loss. She recently wrote “Firm Resolve", a song with a mantra for staying strong and positive through adversity and she wrote “Dearer to Me” about how inspiration can change one's life for the better. She is currently working on more original song releases in 2024.
Holly performed in a band playing classic rock and pop cover songs for almost two years. Before that, she performed as a solo artist where she sang and played cover songs on guitar at regional open mics. Originally from Rochester, New York, Holly resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
